Today, the graduation ceremony of our Data Analytics program as part of Business Engineering: Marketing Engineers (@HIR_ME) graduates took place in the UGent UFO (University FOrum) building. About 1,200 attendees joined the ceremony for the graduation of the Business Engineers as well as all Business Economics! Dieter Oosterlinck (Magna cum Laude graduate of HIR/ME 2015) received the 1,000 EUR McKinsey Analytics Award for best student in data analytics! The prize was awarded by Pieterjan Nuitten, who is also a graduate of our Business Engineering/Marketing Engineering (recently relabeled as “Data Analytics”) program. Moreover, Sander van Driessche (cum laude graduate of HIR/ME 2015, see second picture below) was also awarded a prize. Congratulations to all!
