Graduation Ceremony of Analytics ME and MScMA Class of 2013
Today, the graduation ceremony of our two #Analytics programs: Marketing Engineers (@HIR_ME) and Master of Science in Marketing Analysis (@MMA_CRM) graduates took place in the UGent UFO (University FOrum) building. About 1,000 attendees joined the ceremony for the graduation of the Business Engineers as well as all MScMA, MScBF, MAE, MBE! In the picture above, you see Marketing Engineering students with yours truly. Bart Van der Vurst (Summa cum Laude graduate of HIR/ME 2013, first from the right in the picture above) received the 1,000 EUR McKinsey Analytics Award for best student in analytics (he was also the best business engineering student across all years)! Below, you see a picture of the Master of Science in Marketing Analysis Class of 2013. Congratulations to all!

Dave Dhoest (Magna cum Laude graduate of MScMA 2013) received the 400 EUR cash prize awarded by Emeritus Professor Jacques de Rijcke (see picture above).
Below, you see Bart Van der Vurst (Master of Science in Business Engineering/Marketing Engineering) being awarded the McKinsey Analytics award by Bernd Vindevogel (McKinsey Advanced Analytics, he is also an MScMA graduate).
Prof. Dr. Marc De Clercq (Dean of our Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, see pictures below) gives a nice graduation speech.
Matthias Lelie (Master of Science in Business Engineering, see picture below), who wrote an excellent Master dissertation in the field of Marketing Analytics, also received an award (by Prof. Dr. Mario Vanhoucke).
This graduation ceremony also marked the end of the presidency of Rector Prof. Dr. Paul Van Cauwenberge (see picture below). We thank him for his support and efforts.
Bert De Visscher (Chairman of VOSEKO, the alumni association of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, see picture below) also gave a speech to welcome graduates into the assocation.
