Visiting UGent Graduates all over the world
Visiting UGent Graduates all over the world
During conference visits all around the globe I always try to visit UGent alumni. In the picture above, you see Brian Weidenbaum (Master of Science in Marketing Analysis graduate, Class of 2012). Dauwe Vercamer and yours truly invited him in New York City for a nice Italian dinner while attending Strata NYC 2012 at the end of October. Brian is currently working as Data Analyst at Oyster Travel in NYC.
In December 2012, I visited Roeland Delrue (UGent graduate of Bachelor/Master of Science in Business Engineering) in San Francisco, CA (on my way to the NIPS 2012 conference). He is currently attending HULT international Business School (notice the very nice location of their offices near Coit tower, see picture below).

Earlier this year, I had dinner with Bruce Fecheyr-Lippens in New York City (while attending the Measurable Marketing event at NYU, see picture below). Bruce is Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in the Big Apple.
On my way to the SRII conference in San Jose, CA, I met UGent students and alumni (from left to right: Bruno Borghmans, yours truly, Simon Devos, Manu Uylenbroeck and Kenn Crombé, who were attending Summer School at UC Berkeley, CA. The picture was taken at The Cliff House in San Francisco.
Late last year, I had dinner with Florence Talbot (Master of Science in Marketing Analysis graduate, Class of 2006) and her husband while attending the ICDM 2011 conference in Vancouver, Canada. Both were working at the University of British Columbia at that time.
